Impasse (2020)

Impasse is the second track to be released off Yashira’s newly announced full-length LP Fail To Be, which is slated for release on December 11, 2020, via Good Fight Music. Pre-order here

Impasse is a track that uses religious devotion as a metaphor for drug addiction. In many ways, drug dependence and the belief in a higher power are parallel. The damage they inflict on the psyche can be permanent. This song is about autonomy being stripped away in the search for relief.

Shards of Heaven (2020)

Shards of Heaven is the first track to be released off Yashira’s newly announced full-length LP Fail To Be, which is slated for release on December 11, 2020, via Good Fight Music. The music video for "Shards of Heaven" was directed by Cameron Nunez.

The song is about how violence is used to gain power over people, and specific situations. It's about how violence and power are used perpetually throughout history to create false realities for those safeguarded and protected from and by the violence.

Led to Ache (2018)

Led to Ache is from a split 7" with the legendary ZAO. The song deals with the harm that manifests daily through the corporate obsession with production, development, and expansion, as well as the subsequent guilt of being a consumer in 2018 and cynicism about the future. Released September 21, 2018 via Mind Over Matter Records.

Shrine (2018)

We worked tirelessly on this album and the accompanying artwork since early 2016. The fact that such a solid label like Good Fight wanted to put the record out is just incredible. We’re super grateful. Order CD/LP here

We also released our first music video for Redact (Flood) . It was directed by our good friend Cameron Nunez. This is some of the most aggressive material we’ve written and we feel the visual ideas Cameron brought to the table really accentuate the mood of the song.
