Massachusetts metal act MouthBreather have shared an absolute frenzy of a track with new single “You Try to Die” out now via Good Fight Music. Fusing together gadget metal, metallic hardcore and technical metal, “You Try to Die” is unrelentingly heavy, crushing, and unforgiving. There’s shrilled screams, powerful guitar riffs, an aggressive breakdown, and enough added elements that will have you wondering what you just heard in the best way. The track was produced by Nick Cates and Ryan Fosdick, and mixed by Nick Cates, at Burnout Labs, and mastered by Jay Maas (Defeater) at Getaway Recording. The song marks the band’s first new original music since the release of their lauded 2021 album, I’m Sorry Mr. Salesman.
